Hello there, its time for my 7 monthly update. In a month it'll have been a year since I started the digital art project. Initially I'd planned to have 365 drawings which would make me an expert. Well, it was kind of impossible and abandoning that idea has given me the ability to put more time and effort into my pieces. I don't regret my choice at all BUT I think I need a little push. Having no schedules has made me lazy. So new goal: 150 drawings by the 10th of November. That's roughly two drawings a day- daunting but I want to end this thing with an epic ARTSPLOSION Also when this ends something very important will be happening to this

Well at the start of my "Paint Project" which eventually molded into "Mainly Sai with a little bit of Paint Project" I promised art every day for a year. The reason I wanted to do this was to learn how to make digital art that didn't suck. It started out really well but of course the main problem I faced was time to draw so many damn pictures! I don't have the time anymore. But the project is NOT over! It just won't be every single day. It was a great thing to get me into the habit of drawing and continuing even when it was difficult but now that I somewhat enjoy this it was holding be back a lot. My friend gave me SAI which is an art program that is, of course, much better than ms paint. Earlier no matter what software I used all my pictures would look awful. Now, I am tentative to say, I've gotten a lot better. My pictures that I've started in SAI are so much better because I've got a lot more options. I'm not sure if this spells the very quick end to my paint project and the beginning of a broader digital art project. Ms paint is still fun for quick doodles, they have their own kind of charm. Anyway, expect some very slightly better art in the next few days.
